I am from the Detroit area (Farmington) and moved to Eaton Rapids in November, 2011. After going to Honduras on a mission trip and seeing the devastating poverty there, I decided to change careers and become a teacher. Education is the only real way out of poverty I reasoned. I received my Masters of Arts in Teaching from the University of Michigan-Dearborn in 2010, and my Reading Specialist endorsement in 2012. I am married and have a son and two grandchildren. I enjoy gardening, cooking, quilting and of course reading!
